As the least populated state in the nation, Wyoming's solitude allows for huge night skies.  Because of increasing light pollution, only 20% of Americans are able to see the Milky Way, that hazy band of light that is our galaxy.  This massive collection of stars, dust, and gases, visible in only the darkest of places, arcs over the Teton sky each night.
